As children's reading rates can drop during the summer holidays, we've devised a series of events and programmes to boost engagement in a variety of fun and active ways. We'd love for you to join us.

Children’s Storytime Sessions - Join us in our children’s corner for book readings, music and play. Ideal for 2-5 year-olds. Every Tuesday and Thursday at 11am.

Rehearsed Book Readings - Listen as we bring famous stories to life, in collaboration with the Helmsley Arts Centre. Ideal for 6-11 year-olds. Date TBC.

Tiny Book Treasure Trail - The bookshop mice have taken books around the town. Can you find them? Suitable for all ages.

Summer Loyalty Reading Scheme - Buy and read five books over the summer holidays and receive the sixth for free! Suitable for all ages.
