This minimalist plant print with botanical name is perfect for nature lovers and those who appreciate organic design and slow-made craftsmanship. These art prints are reproductions from original botanical monoprints which have been created by the process of printmaking with plants. Artist Alicia starts her process by walking out in nature, foraging for plants to print with before heading back to the studio to load up the flower press. Once the flowers, leaves and ferns are pressed she inks up the plants using traditional printmaking techniques. The end result, is a hand crafted print that is a contact print from the real plant. Alicia then digitalises her originals to create a series of affordable art prints and botanical greeting cards.
